What a great way to spend a Friday night. Hanging out with Laura Denison on her Ustream channel was so much fun. With her pattern for the Valentine box, 2 pieces of Cardboard, 4 (12 x 12) pattern papers, score tape, and a couple of T!m Holtz feet....... and Voila !!!!! There you have it ! Look what I was able to do last night.




She inspires me to the max and beyond. I really do not know how she does it ! She is an incredible woman. Thanks Laura !

Day 1 Three Rooms Revamp-31 Day Challenge

On January 1st, 2011 I decided to join the Marion Smith 31 Day Challenge! My Challenge, to re vamp Three Rooms in Thirty One days! Crazy uhhh ? One twist to my Challenge. Wanted DEAD or ALIVE

I am offering a REWARD for someone who may encounter an item that I have been looking for almost a year now. It all started with Laura Denisson's 2009 Halloween album. (I love this woman) She doesn't know that, maybe she does !!! She made this awesome Halloween paperbag mini last year, with the canvas cover and Basic Greys Erie Collection. I instantly fell in love and knew I had to make the album. Well, I made it. Cover and all. But there is one thing missing !!!! I cannot find the beaded necklace with "THE SKELETON HAND" !!! And I am obssessed ! Can anyone relate? So, I am willing to cast a hefty REWARD to anyone who can get me the Skull beaded Necklace, made by Celebrate It, distributed by Michaels.

My Vintage lady

This would be my Vintage Lady for the Tag Swap that Marie (at the prettypaperboutique.blogspot.com) is so graciously hosting! The challenge was to use a vintage lady, and add lace! For me this was a natural thing to do ! I LOVE VINTAGE AND LACE! You probably can tell by now. Hope you like it !

First look at my April Tag

How much fun I had making this tag for the April Tag Swap hosted by our friend Arlene at butterflykisseswithlove.blogspot.com . Thanks Arlene.

The theme was Roses and flowers, and add some fabric. The fabric is actually my Cupid and Phyque image. That is my favorite stamp in the whole wide world ! There is other pieces of fabric throughout the tag. The Rose on her hair is special! There's vintage lace, as well as vintage bling.

I've not had time to make my first You Tube, but I am hoping May will be a good time to start. I would love to share my techniques with all you lovely ladies! Hope you like it. I'll post more photos soon!

I'm supposed to list ten interesting things about myself, so here it goes:

1) I am a Vice President to a Construction Company in Miami Florida and we Build out the stores you see in the Miami International Airport. ( I learned Arlene is a Project Manager, hummmm Maybe I can convince her to work in the great MIA )

2) I have been blessed with four grown up children that have their own little families. Making me a grandmother of six. Yes Grandmother. You wouldn't know if you saw my photo ! He He !!!! I act like a little girl all the time ! lolol

3) I dream about opening up my own "Art Making Bar" in MIA. Thus the name Artmingle, Inc. Already Incorporated.

4) I live by myself in a four bedroom , three bathroom Townhouse. Two rooms and the Garage are occupied by Art and Sewing ! My home is my retreat !

5) At this time, I am addicted to You Tube. I have met so many wonderful people here. I feel I am never alone! They are humble, generous and best of all, they share my Passion ! Art and Shopping ! LOL

6) Being so humble myself, I am finding it hard to write ten things that are interesting about me! This is hard labor ! :)

7) Oh ! My favorite symbol is the Fleur De Lis !

Artful Journey Retreat - WOW!

Picture a group of Powerful Artistic Women, up in the Mountains of Los Gatos CA, having so much fun, sharing and getting to know each other. They were from all over the world, Hungary, Australia, Iceland United States (of course) and more. Artful Journey was hosted by Cindy O'Leary at http://www.anartfuljourney.com/retreats . I took DJ Pettitt's at http://djpettitt.typepad.com/djpettitt/ class and it was just AMAZING. They are having another on in July 2010 and I highly recommend it. Thank you to all involved in putting this event together. I will cherish these moments forever !

This is my Apron Swap for the Artful Journey Retreat in Los Gatos California. It went to the lovely Davielle Huffman from CA. She is Princess Magpie at princessmagpie@cox.net. I hope she enjoys it, I made it with lots of Love. It was beaded with crystals and lots of flowers. Lots of Bling!

Happy New Year ! 2010

Well, talk about a leave of absence! Many things happened, or did not happened. I just had to go with the flow. Luckily I am back now, better in Health and ready to take on the New Year!
Got to make it up to a couple of friends! And I will.
One and only resolution for 2010 : Get with my art and Pour my heart into it!

Mini kit and Sarah

It's been a while. I have been totally swamp with work! (That's a good thing and I am thankful for that)

Today I received my second mini album kit from DSC and there was a lot of goodies. These girls rock! Thanks Arlene and Bona.

But most important I now know who my second swap buddy is. It's Sarah, from Southeastern Kentucky! I am happy to learn she wants a Halloween album. Very excited for I just went shopping this weekend for Halloween goodies and my oh my! I did some damage :)

I hope she is ready for a junkie up cool Halloween album.
